Black Warrior- White Ninja Series
I finished Black Warrior (ages ago) and I have been so busy these last weeks I haven't had time to write ANYTHING.
Black Warrior was really fast paced. I finished it in a couple of days and I can't say it was my favourite book of the series but it was sufficient enough to keep me well engaged.
There were quite a lot of twists and turns in this book. Characters that you thought you knew all about you learn have deeper feelings and secrets.
For example, Hero (or Hiroshi- your pick) actually is nice and helps Roxy a lot. Hero's mum has, I think, a mental illness so you can't blame Hero for being nasty most of the time.
So, just in case you want to read this series, I'll give you a basic outline on what the books have been about. You know, just one or two sentences. Something simple.
White Ninja-We find Roxy is a 13 year old and lives with her mum and her mum's partner. Roxi meets up with this new guy at school called Jackson who takes her to a special dojo and Roxi gradually learns she is a Ninja. She has to find the White Warrior and the Tiger Scrolls before the Samurai clans do.
Red Samurai- This is after the battle for the White Warrior and the ancient Tiger Scrolls. But then Roxi has other things to deal with too, such as keeping her powers hidden. But weird things start happening with her sister.
Black Warrior- A lot of violence. A lot of things collapsing. A lot of cool, awesome twists. And everything comes together nicely at the end.
There you have it!
